Situated on 57 acres of land in the heart of the Tri-Cities, Coquitlam Centre features over 910,000 square feet of retail on two spacious levels. Coquitlam Centre is the only shopping centre in the Metro Vancouver offering Hudson’s Bay, London Drugs, Sport Chek, T&T Supermarket, UNIQLO, H&M, Aritzia, Sephora, Lululemon, Atmosphere, Golf Town, Walmart, and Best Buy, all in one convenient location.
The Coquitlam Centre Fund was seeded with an initial donation of $7,250 raised at Coquitlam Centre’s Unwined event in May 2011. It was established in October 2011 in order to assist School District 43 graduates to pursue post-secondary studies in the fields of Business, Marketing or Urban Land Economics. In February 2016 the terms of the fund were expanded to allow assistance to organizations in and around the Tri-Cities for the following charitable purposes:
- providing financial assistance for and in support of children/youth programs;
- services to enable children/youth to gain confidence in themselves, adopt a healthy lifestyle, learn leadership skills and the importance of being a contributing member of society; and
- providing financial assistance to organizations that enable children/youth to deal with bullying, discrimination and alienation.
- providing financial assistance for groups and organizations that provide support and education/resources for children/youth living with mental health afflictions.
The Fund’s purpose is to provide assistance primarily to organizations in and around the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody) and the surrounding villages for the following charitable purposes:
- you must be on the Canada Revenue Agency’s List of Charities;
- providing financial assistance for and in support of children/youth programs or services to enable children/youth to gain confidence in themselves, adopt a healthy lifestyle, learn leadership skills and the importance of being a contributing member of society;
- providing financial assistance to organizations that enable children/youth to deal with bullying, discrimination and alienation;
- providing financial assistance for groups and organizations that provide support and education/resources for children/youth living with mental health afflictions; and
- providing bursaries to individuals pursuing post secondary studies in the fields of Business, Marketing or Urban Land Economics.
