MORE INFO ON THIS FUND
Susan Jarema, and her two children have been long time residents of Port Moody and Coquitlam since 1996. Her passion for conservation has grown over the years as climate change has become a more pressing issue. Susan is an active member of her community and the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce and a Director on the Rivershed Society. Her web agency, New Earth Marketing, founded in 2006 supports many conservation organizations and non profits in the GVRD to help them create awareness and have a web presence. Many of these projects have had limitations imposed by their funding sources on use of funds for digital technology that would have ensured longevity in the program’s success.
As a strong supporter of the Coquitlam Foundation, Susan decided to start raising money towards a fund that could be used for helping these organizations and young leaders initiate new projects with greater success through the use of digital communication and technology.
Established Dec 2018, the New Earth Marketing Fund will provide grants to Tri-City non profit organizations and community groups for programs or education aimed at protecting, conserving and education on moving towards an environmentally sustainable community. Use of the grants will include, but are not limited to: support digital technology, digital community, marketing set-up, technology platforms subscriptions, and systems and process that will help ensure success and longevity of the programs.
