Coquitlam, BC – September 11, 2026 – At its Annual General Meeting last night, the Coquitlam Foundation introduced Jennifer Menge-Ewart as its new Executive Director.
Grounded in community engagement, strategic partnerships and philanthropy, Menge-Ewart brings more than two decades of leadership experience to the role. She will lead the Foundation’s work to strengthen donor relationships, grow community philanthropy and build on more than three decades of local grantmaking and scholarships.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer back to the Tri-Cities as our new Executive Director,” said Matthew Sebastiani, Chair of the Coquitlam Foundation. “Her experience in donor stewardship, strategic partnerships and regional leadership makes her exceptionally well suited to guide the Foundation into its next chapter. We also extend our sincere thanks to outgoing Executive Director Carol Brodie, whose leadership over the past five years has left a lasting impact on our organization and community.”
Menge-Ewart began her career in Coquitlam and most recently served as Director of Philanthropy at the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation, where she led major gifts, donor stewardship and strategic fundraising for regional healthcare. Her background also includes serving as a Board Director with the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and holding senior leadership roles with Canucks Sports & Entertainment and Great Canadian Casinos (Coquitlam), where she built corporate partnerships and expanded community outreach.
“As Executive Director, I bring a deep personal passion for Coquitlam and a commitment to strengthening the relationships that make this community thrive. My focus is on supporting our donors and partners, amplifying local impact, and helping connect people who want to give back with the organizations and initiatives making a difference locally,” said Menge-Ewart.
Menge-Ewart assumed the role on September 1, 2026, and looks forward to connecting with Foundation donors, community leaders and partner organizations in the coming weeks.
