One down, one to go. The Coquitlam Foundation is in the process of filling one of two vacancies on its board of directors, but is still looking for just the right person for the second position.
The successful applicant will be a Coquitlam resident who is a passionate, dedicated team player, preferably with some charity-board experience, and is also willing to volunteer his or her time to join 11 other directors. The foundation’s working board meets monthly; as well, all directors are expected to serve on at least one committee.
To apply, please send the foundation a resume and a letter, explaining your vision for helping the Coquitlam Foundation build a vibrant, sustainable, and healthy community. Please contact the foundation by July 15.
The Coquitlam Foundation manages $3.2 million in 30 foundation-directed and donor-advised funds. The foundation always welcomes donations to any of these funds, which can be made by clicking the “Donate Now” button at the bottom right corner of this webpage.
As well, the foundation invites interested individuals or organizations to consider establishing a fund with the foundation. Individuals and families are also encouraged to think of the foundation when planning legacy and estate donations.
